The last couple of years my illustrations have centred around Herne Hill in South London after being commissioned to do a small and a very large mural there by Herne Hill Forum and Lambeth Council, as well as four piano boards and several posters and designs for History Hear and Herne Hill Free Film Festival.
Two posters commissioned by Herne Hill History Hear to advertise their archives of sound recordings about the local community. They're made combining hand drawn elements and computer design using Adobe Illustrator.
This is an early draft version of the History Hear poster that the client decided not to go with because they wanted more details. I love distilling a concept down to one simple image, though, so this is something that I think puts the idea across in a clean and punchy manner with a bit of humour.
This is a series of four posters to teach kids about playing piano. They are made to hang above the people's piano in the underpass in Herne Hill Station. Commissioned by Herne Hill Forum.
Here are some images I made of local landmarks in Herne Hill that were used for the Herne Hill Station mural and in social media by Herne Hill Free Film Festival.
Some poster designs I did for Herne Hill Free Film festival. The client decided not to go for the minimalist popcorn option in the end, but I still like the clean design.
